Welcome!
Welcome to my newly redesigned website, where you’ll find everything in one place. I was hit this week by a hacker, who proceeded to load my site with malware. I apologize to anyone who might have visited during that very brief time period and for any inconvenience it may have caused. Rather than take any chances, I had my account wiped out and reset so that I could start clean. Just to make sure, I had the site scanned to verify that it was free of malware, and it is. I’ve also tightened up security, so hopefully this won’t happen again, but hackers are persistent. The thing that upsets me the most is that I’ve lost over three and a half years worth of blog posts, which are a record of my life. All I can say is…oh well.

On to happier things, this weekend is our local Fall Festival. I entered a photo in our local art show and got first place in photography. Yay! I also set up a display, see above, of the Community Photo Project portraits. There was a lot of good buzz about it from the people looking at the portraits. I heard from quite a few who were disappointed that they weren’t able to participate, because of timing issues. Maybe I’ll do this again next year…hmmm…I did add one new photo, below, that was taken today. All in all, it was a good project. Now to come up with another project to tackle. You can take a look at all of the photos from the project by clicking the Community Project link in the menu up above, but here are just a few.
