This summer I captured the personalities of the North Franklin community members through portraits. I hosted photo sessions around Connell and Eltopia in an attempt to photograph as many members of our community as possible.
A celebration of the North Franklin communities was held September 10th at the Connell Community Center, in conjunction with Fall Festival and the Art Show, where all the images were displayed. Participation was free and open to everyone. Each participant received a small print of their portrait after the opening in September and each portrait will appear here on the Community Photo Project website.
I really encouraged people to COME AS THEY ARE, whether that was in their work clothes, out on a walk with their dog or on their way to bale hay, etc. The goal of this project was to create beautiful portraits, but not necessarily glamour shots.
Participants were provided with a free 5”x 5” print after the opening. Additional 5”x5”’s will be $5 ea. to cover costs. For large fine art prints please contact me for pricing.
