One Saturday afternoon, not long ago, I got a phone call from a frantic bride looking for a wedding photographer. Why was she frantic? I’m glad you asked…she was getting married in a few short hours and her wedding photographer, who was almost at the venue, got a phone call with a family emergency and he had to turn around and go home.
An hour and a half later, there I was photographing hair and makeup and meeting the bride and groom for the first time. Luckily everything turned out okay with the family emergency and I’m glad I was available to fill in for Robbi and Ken. It was a beautiful day for the wedding, held at the bride’s parents’ log home, with horses in the pasture nearby providing a lovely setting.

Oh my gosh! What a calamity! (Ha. That seems like an old fashioned word but somehow it’s in my head. I blame the books I’m reading.) And I’m sure they were happy to have you and your photo skills!
