Next up are Katie and Erik who got married at Areus, in Walla Walla. It was a beautiful setting, with a vineyard on one edge of the property and a wheat field on the other, and a beautiful view of the valley below. It was an eventful day, with wind pulling up the tent stakes, hail coming down with the wind, not to mention horizontal rain soaking the table linens and chairs that were under the tent. Everyone that was there early scrambled to pitch in to get things dried off and set up all over again to get the wedding under way after a brief delay.
It was a beautiful wedding, with Katie’s brother performing the ceremony and he did a wonderful job. He had everybody all choked up at one point, along with the bride and groom’s vows to each other adding to the emotion of the day.
